In Their Words:

"Working with Sidonie has increased not only my skill level, but my longevity as an Aerialist. I not only learned new moves, new progressions, new techniques and new ways of moving but most importantly proper care for my body and an overall greater awareness of my body in space. Working with Sidonie helped me to better know how to take care of myself and create more targeted and effective aerial warm ups and cool downs to prevent and avoid injury."

- S. V.R. Aerialist and Stunt Performer

Why I made this:

I don’t want you to have to DIY your artistic/athletic career or passion. I don't want you to have to figure it out all on your own. I was a DIY artist, I know that load, I know that pressure, I know that confusion.

I started my circus career almost 20 years ago and the hurdles that I faced as a creative athlete are still here.

Despite science telling us better

Despite most of us “knowing better”

We still have to wade through the muck and lies about sport, health, longevity, and our worth as human beings.

Extraordinary humans are not disposable and yet with few exceptions, we are trained to be. Disposable, replaceable, and taught to accept bullshit narratives about pain, injury, and the glory of putting it all on the line.

Fuck that. This is art, not war. Your pursuit of the extraordinary should not come with an injury, eating disorder, and burnout guarantee.

You should still enjoy your artistic/athletic practice even if you "take it seriously" and it's your job.

We all got into this cause its fun right? So why do so many of us end up burnt out and in pain?

I made this for me, a younger, struggling me. The me that had no choice but to DIY because I couldn’t find a coach who understood me. The me who kept “failing” despite being told I had “potential.” The me who didn’t fit into any of their boxes.

I also made this for future me, the me that never wants to stop moving. The me that wants to be that crazy lady 40 ft in the air at 60 or 70. The me who does not want to lose function as I age just because I pushed my limits early in life.

Learn how to navigate your needs instead of ignoring them. Save time and energy with supportive cross training that actually speaks to your goals. Train to nourish your performance. Train to recover. That way when you put it all out there on set, on stage wherever, you can perform to the best of your ability and prep for the next job without that fear of being “ready.”

Discover resilience you never knew possible so that if an injury comes around, you feel confident that you can and will return. Find the joy in what you do again. Start moving forever and stop seeing the finish line looming in front of you.

Get support. Get clear. Get where you want to go.
